Bad Brushing Can Be An Open-Door For Swollen Gums
Regular brushing of teeth is the cornerstone of every good oral hygiene program, which is known to be one to the most ingrained of all health habits. Without thinking, we do it once or even twice a day. However, not just because we do it more often we already do it right. Your dentist can tell that lot of bad brushing is going on in the mouth because you have not done proper brushing as the dentist can see a bacteria-laden plaque left collected between teeth and and near the gumline that causes swollen gums, irritated gums and gum disease. Dental problems can be also caused by overzealous brushing as it scrapes away tooth enamel, cause damage to gums and lose their tight grip, allowing infection to occur.
